Dutch Language courses
The general terms and conditions form the formal agreement between Daphne Verlek Nederlands voor Expats the Netherlands and the student or parents.
By submitting the subscription form to register yourself or your child for one of the Dutch Language Courses, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the General Terms & Conditions.
Registration
The registration of a new student with Daphne Verlek Nederlands voor Expats will be accepted as soon as Daphne Verlek Nederlands voor Expats receives a signed subscription form.
Tuition fees 2024 – 2025
Daphne Verlek Nederlands voor Expats works with an income related price for the Dutch lessons:
- Online Private Class for Individuals: € 40,00 per person per hour (0% VAT)
- Online Class for Families or Couples: € 30,00 per person per hour (0% VAT)
- Online Private Class for Students: € 25,00 per person per hour (0% VAT)
- Online Private Class for employees: € 67,00 per person (0% VAT)
- Online Group Class for Employees: please contact Daphne for a tailored quote
- In-Person Intensive Course for South Africans: € 795,00 per person (0% VAT)
Classes will be invoiced in bulk. On the subscription page, you can choose your package of 10, 15, 25, or 45 lessons. After completing the form, you will receive a payment link for the amount corresponding to your selected type and number of classes. Once payment is received, you will be contacted to book and attend your first class.
After purchasing your package, you will have a specific number of weeks to book and attend the total classes you selected: 13 weeks for 10 classes, 20 weeks for 15 classes, 32 weeks for 25 classes, and 58 weeks for 45 classes.
The 6-day intensive course will be invoiced after subscription. Paying the invoice through the provided payment link finalizes your subscription. By making the payment, you agree to the general Terms & Conditions. Any changes after payment will be subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Payments
The full invoice amount, including a 2% administration fee, must be paid before classes can be planned. All costs related to the payment, such as exchange and bank fees, are the responsibility of the student or parent.
Cancellation of Classes
If classes are canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, Daphne Verlek Nederlands voor Expats will not provide refunds or discounts on tuition. If possible, Daphne Verlek Nederlands voor Expats will offer the option to reschedule the missed class. This option is only valid if you cancel more than 48 business hours in advance.
Cancellation of an In-Person Intensive Course
To be valid, a cancellation must be sent via email to daphne@daphneverlek.nl, and the student must receive email confirmation of the cancellation. Refunds will be processed as follows:
- 100% if canceled 30 days or more before the start date
- 70% if canceled 21 to 29 days before the start date
- 10% if canceled 20 days or less before the start date.
Liability
In the case of damage by or as a result of actions of a student, the student in question is liable. Daphne Verlek Nederlands voor Expats will accept no liability.
